Using your Nokia, Blackberry and other Wap enable phones as a Modem

Using ur Bb as a modem is easy as long as you have the pc suite or
desktop manager. I believe that when you first connect ur bb to the
sys either tru cable or bluetooth, there was installation of driver
automatically if this happened then we're ready to go.
First connect ur bb to ur sys wt bluetooth coz internet browsing is
faster wt bluetooth than cable
Second go to control panel>phone and modems>modems>add
Tick 'don't detect my modem,...' and click on next.
On the left manufacturer tab, select blackberry and on the right
models tab, select ur bb bluetooth modem and click next
Now listen i knw my sys and urs are the same and if u must use
bluetooth, it as to be externally attached. Note the port the
bluetooth is attached to, coz for subsequent connections it has to be
the same port
By default 'selected port is ticked' just click on the first COM # and
press next>finish
Back on the phone and modem window, select ur bb model>properties
On the Modem tab>max port speed select the last one(921600)>ok
OR
On the taskbar right click on the connections>open network and sharing
center>set up a new connection>set up a dial-up connection>next
Dial-up phone number type *99#
User name MTN(web), ETISALAT(blank)
Password MTN(web), ETISALAT(blank)
Tick remeber password as the case may be
Connection name -anything u lyk

Click on the connections icon>bb bluetooth modem OR dial-up connection

is ticked or shown)>configure>max speed>921600
Tick the first three boxes only>ok
On the options tab tick the first box only
Redial options>3>1 minute>never and tick redial if...>ok
